Vonda Shepard sings frequently in Europe, but until last year, her tours did not go further than Austria’s eastern border. Eastern Europe, especially Romania, has been included in her schedule since February 2009: “American singer Vonda Shepard, performed Wednesday evening at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, in front of an audience of 3.500 people” the Romanian news agency Mediafax announced at that time: “She got the crowds on their feet to sing and dance alongside her the songs that brought her fame – “Someday We’ll Be Together”, “Searchin’ My Soul” and “I Can’t Stop This Feeling”.

“Chris Rea finally concerts in this black hole named Romania and the tickets are SOLD OUT. I’ve googled every ticket winning contest on the internet, called every radio show… no luck. I hope there is a ticket black market out front the ’sala palatului’ in that day so that I can buy a last minute ticket and get in eventually, if not I’ll try to manufacture a badge or something saying I’m a reporter, a security agent, Chris’ personal make-up artist or so )) I want in!!! Heeelp!”

Irish songwriter, guitarist and singer Paul Casey is being talked of among Ireland’s new music followers as ‘the new cool’. His songwriting, guitar playing and distinctive voice are set to cause quite a stir both sides of the Atlantic. With his forthcoming album ‘Scrapbook‘  the Derry musician is set to raise the bar yet again with a collection of stunning new tracks showcasing truely masterful production and songwriting .

In 2010, Paul Casey joined Chris Rea’s band on an extensive European tour and will also be the support for the dates. The relationship between legendary guitarist Chris Rea and Casey was formed some years ago after Rea heard Pauls demo tape which led to many collaborations between the two.
